This cheerful shape is perfect for storing a range of dried food. At home I use these for housing lentils, oats, tea and so on. I make this shape in two sizes, this is the smaller of the two.

This squared lidded store jar is thrown on the wheel without a base, allowing me to square it whilst it is soft on the wheel. When leather hard I join its base. The lid is hand built with a pulled knob on top.

This pot is simple with no stamp decoration, glazed black outside and celadon green inside. Fired in the wood-fired slat kiln.
